Reuters and the Wall Street Journal s original channels will not get a second round of funding, which will lead to some production and editorial freelance contracts not getting renewed, PandoDaily reported .
Reuters launched its ReutersTV channel on YouTube last year, which features 10 news and commentary programs including Reuters Investigates and Media Bite. It s not clear whether the cut in funding will have an impact on the actual channel.
YouTube has invested $150 million to launch contemporary furniture 100 original channels ranging from Philip DeFranco s SourceFed to AwesomenessTV .
