The Last Stand is an almost touching old-fashioned action movie, with bloody violence, big explosions and excessively caricatured heroes and villains. The movie is big and stupid, and nobody can claim that this is high art.
But sometimes such films are exactly what I need, and Schwarzenegger has yet enough charm and charisma that hardcore film entirely, although his play is still just as subtle as a bulldozer. Slurry must be stopped

Really hope that this is better than Expendables (1ern has not seen 2ern yet) which I thought was incredibly disappointing, largely because it was so ass filmed that it was often impossible to see what happened. But I hear that Last Stand is filmed with good old-fashioned steadycam, so then you get perhaps the opportunity to enjoy Arnie on film again. :-) Have been a big fan of the man ever since I sat up late and saw Terminator 2 on TV when I was small.
