This is not the first time that I speak here of a watch series Bauhaus, the Junkers, but I think it will be the first to referencio with a quartz movement. The German manufacturer's Bauhaus Series includes several models, from simple dress watches three-pointers to elegant chronographs with quartz movements and either mechanical automatic. The Junkers 6070-5 shoe storage (there shoe storage is a variant, 6070-2, shoe storage with black dial and bracelet) is an elegant dress watch with three hands and a date window at 3H00 based Swiss quartz movement Ronda 515. The watch is extremely elegant and discreet, with indices instead of numerals in hourly positions, although it is visible as a number of seconds from 0 to 60, with increments shoe storage of 5 seconds. This clock has two brothers, almost twins: Junkers 6050-5 is aesthetically very similar but is based on an ETA 2824-2 shoe storage automatic movement; already Junkers 6046-5 is based on the same Ronda 515 quartz but sports shoe storage a display a (very) little more ornate, with Arabic numerals at the hour positions and a logo of the Junkers, a little more prominent, at 6:00 am. The proportions are perfect for a dress watch with steel case 40mm in diameter and 10mm thick. Like all models of the Junkers Bauhaus Series here too ... the display glass is not glass. The reason shoe storage is due to its convex shape, which makes them particularly vulnerable - if mineral glass or sapphire would break easily. So the Junkers Hesalite opted to use a synthetic material virtually unbreakable - the same that was used at the request of NASA, Omega Speedmaster on the first mission to the Moon Find an interesting article about the properties and advantages of Hesalite shoe storage here. But I saved the best for last. The price of this Junkers 6070 (and the 6046) a German clock with Swiss movement, is only 199. A bargain even greater when we discovered that the brand represented in Portugal by SRI offers a lifetime warranty.
